Baptism is not a once-in-a lifetime event but rather a living reality that keeps us connected to Jesus as we participate fully in a life of grace.
When Jesus was baptized, He was named Beloved Son of God, just as we are offered the gift of becoming children of God.
Jesus did not need to be cleansed of His sins, nor did He need to repent. He did this to help us with our brokenness and provide us with the gateway to grace.
By accepting the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we can infuse our lives with God’s grace, along with the virtues of faith, hope, and charity.
Today, remember God’s gift of salvation through His Son, Christ, the Redeemer, who took on our sins and gave us His grace.
Celebrate God’s love that accompanies us through life and is forever present as we commit to bearing witness to the light and joy.
