How many times do we treat God as a spare tire instead of our steering wheel?
How many use prayer as a last-ditch effort instead of maintaining daily communication with God?
How many of us seek God only during difficult times?
How often do we talk to God? We don’t have to wait until we’re in dire straits. In order to develop our relationship with God, we need to make prayer our first priority in life, not our last resort when we have given up on all hope.
Prayer is an essential part of our spiritual health that we incorporate into our daily habits. When we actively seek God’s guidance and directions, we learn to trust His wisdom and keep the faith.
Prayer is like our car’s GPS; it gives us our spiritual bearings and a sense of direction. It puts God behind the wheel as the guiding factor in all aspects of our lives. Make the time to remain in contact with God in order to maintain a strong, loving relationship with Him.
Prayer is our spiritual steering wheel. It’s the fuel that pumps the power of God into navigating life’s quick turns and detours. Prayer is the driving force in our spiritual journey. On the road called life, invite Jesus to take the wheel just as He invites us to receive His guidance and grace.
Don’t pray out of fear. Pray in His faith and love. We don’t pray because of our goodness; we pray because of His goodness. Prayer is His gift to us; it protects us, redirects us, draws us closer to Him, gives us hope, brings us peace, and makes us stronger.
Don’t wait until you have a spiritual blowout or find yourself lost in the wilderness.
Seek God’s direction every day, not just when you’re in trouble.
You’re in good hands with God at the wheel instead of in the passenger seat or in the trunk.
